As camping and nature go hand in hand, respect for the environment has been given a central roll since since the creation of our camp-site We preserve and enhance the identity and natural heritage of the camp-site (former orchards, dry stone walls, hundred-year-old walnut and oak trees) with the development of the site while providing solutions using the latest technology (energy sources, lighting, water management, waste management optimisation, etc.).

Since 2010, our camp-site has been awarded a “Clef Verte” label (Green Key Label). This label is the first international independent environmental label for tourist accommodation and rewards institutions for their dynamic environmental actions.
We are also committed to sustainable development through this award.

Water management : new facilities, water saving taps, regular inspection of facilities.

Energy management : installation of solar panels for the outdoor pool with slides, energy saving lighting in rental accommodation and toilet blocks, new heat pump for the indoor swimming pool, etc.

Waste management : the recycling bins are located near the camp-site exit: plastic bottles, glass, cardboard, paper, etc.

Limited use of chemical products  in park maintenance. Environment friendly products (European ecolabel) used for cleaning accommodation, use of PEFC certified or recycled paper and envelopes, selection of a “Imprim’vert”  (Print Green) printing shop.

The staff travels around the site on foot, by bike or by using electric vehicles

Vehicles cannot enter the village from 11p.m. to 7 a.m.

All the residents are invited to switch off electrical appliances when they are not in use or in an empty room (switch the heating off in rooms when you open the windows)
